(1856)] Therefore the above named Directors supplicate your High Mightinesses with all due reverence, to be pleased to cause to be issued the commission aforesaid, inasmuch as two ships lie in the Texel ready to sail at the moment your High Mightinesses' patent shall be sent on board for the above named Petrus Stuyvesant. A certain memorial, presented to their High Mightinesses by and on behalf of the West India Company of this country, for a commission for Petrus Stuyvesande New Netherland. as Director of New Netherland, being read in the Assembly; it is, previous to proceeding further herein, resolved and concluded, that their High Mightinesses' resolution concerning New Netherland, adopted on the 13"" instant, and the other thereunto relating, shall be looked up and examined, in order to take further action according as it shall appertain.
