Thomas Scharf (1886)] He is a trustee of the Cortlandt Cemetery Association, and one of the stock-holders of the Westchester County National Hank, of which his father was one of the original founders. He is a member of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church, and one of the trustees of the society. 1 CORTLANDT. 411.-) He married Emma C, daughter of Joshua Horton, of the town of Cortlandt. They have one son, Stephen F., now a student in the Medical Department of the University of the City of New York. Mr. Horton's mother is yet living at the age of eighty-two. Her sister, Mrs. Katie Purdy, is also living at the advanced age of ninety-four. A factory was built on the eastern end of Main Street a number of years ago by George Dayton, to make lamp brackets and lamp fixtures.
