"My consulting work for the last three years has been an outgrowth of special work done for the Westinghouse Electric Company, Pittsburgh, Pa.; the United States Motor Company of New York and Detroit; with a year and a half of consulting work for the Bush Terminal Company of New York City. "In the summer of 1913 I went abroad for a trip with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, during which we were entertained for three weeks as the guests of German engineers.
