At a meeting of the members of the Bar of the city of New York, held at the room of the Law Institute, in the City Hall, on Tuesday, October 4, 1842, on motion of Mr. David Graham, Mr. John Anthon was called to the Chair, and John W. Edmonds appointed Secretary. On motion of Mr. Daniel Lord, Jr., it was Resolved, That the members of the Bar will co-operate with the Common Council, and their fellow citizens, in celebrating the completion of the Croton Water Works.
