[Robert Bolton, Jr. (1848)] The Yerplanck family descend from Abraham Jacobsen Yer-planck; of New Amsterdam, whose son Gulian was a wealthy merchant of the same place in 16S3. The son of Gulian was Philip Yerplanck, of Yerplanck's Point. This branch of the flmiily is now represented by Philip Yer-planck, Esq., of New Windsor, grandson of the last mentioned Philip. The principal proprietors of the Point are John Henry, Esq., who holds five hundred acres, upon which is situated the old Yerplanck residence; Mr. William Blakely, jr., Mr. John Stenson,
